Customer

Our Customer is a leading company, which sets standards in the automotive aftermarket worldwide. It has in-depth knowledge of the industry and high requirements for the utmost levels of quality and security based on sustainable technologies. 

Project

The product we work on is a data warehouse solution designed to become a unified storage tool for structured and unstructured data generated by various solutions used by the customer’s company. So, it’s a data processing tool aimed at collecting data and sending it to a Data Pool with data refinement, persistence, and enrichment. 

Requirements

  • Strong Python knowledge 
  • Experience with Postman 
  • Ability to design tests for functions and business flows of moderate complexity assuring required coverage of requirements 
  • Ability to manage own tasks  
  • Good communication skills: able to explain complex matters so that they are easily understood by the audience, able to handle communication in own area of responsibility 
  • Ability to follow existing project processes and can suggest process enhancement. Has basic knowledge of SCRUM and Kanban 
  • Knowledge of the characteristics of good requirements. Ability to compose good-worded requirements-related questions 
  • Ability to create basic testing documentation: bug reports, test cases, and checklists 
  • Ability to estimate own activities by instructions 
  • Ability to write consistently good, well-structured e-mails and simple reports 
  • Ability to identify and solve testing-related problems/cases 
  • At least Upper Intermediate level of English

 

Nice to have:

  • Ability to define specifics of SUT usage and use it while executing tests 
  • Ability to identify and escalate project risks 
  • Experience with AWS services: Lambdas, API Gateway, Dynamo DB, S3, Elastic Cache 
  • Experience with CI servers (Azure DevOps) 
  • Experience with JMeter

Responsibilities

  • Implementation of the Test Strategy on a new project 
  • Tasks estimation and planning 
  • Requirements analysis and clarification 
  • Auto-tests’ design and implementation for the defined scope 
  • Creation of required test artifacts, including both manual test and test automation ones 
  • Smoke/Regression activities performing 
  • Results analysis and communication with the team 
  • Regular and clear status and progress reporting 
  • Effective and efficient collaboration with the project team
