We are looking for an intelligent, ambitious Full Stack Ruby On Rails Engineer to join our team! The Customer is a representative of an enterprise SaaS company delivering purpose for a more engaged workforce. 


As an unprecedented number of companies have had to migrate to a work-from-home model because of the COVID-19 pandemic, they are giving back, and employee engagement programs have had to evolve also. From relying on in-person activities, they have had to learn to accommodate remote participants. 

The platform with its services helps Corporate Social Responsibility, Diversity & Inclusion and Human Resources teams in enterprise companies enter the world of online employee engagement via meaningful virtual “volunteer” and social impact experiences — 100% of which benefit social and nonprofit enterprises.

In other words, the product is a SaaS platform for employee-driven corporate social responsibility (CSR). It helps companies discover & book hundreds of carefully curated social impact team experiences led by and benefitting local social ventures and provides analytics to match these with employees’ individual interests.

With its proprietary content across 90+ countries, the product is providing the infrastructure and content for purpose-driven employee and client engagement. Some of the product customers include Colgate, ADP, IBM, Adobe, Twilio, Twitch, Nielsen, and others.



  • 5+ years of professional experience as a software engineer with Ruby On Rails development in all aspects of architecture, design, and implementation 
  • At least 2 years of experience with web client technologies (JavaScript, HTML5, CSS) 
  • Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and key-value stores (Memcached, Redis) 
  • Experienced in one of the cloud environments development (AWS, Azure, GCP) 
  • Experience with Agile software engineering processes and methodologies 
  • A fast learner and self-starter. Able to come up to speed on new applications and technology in a very short amount of time 
  • Detail-oriented, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills 
  • High degree of self-motivation; must be able to plan and execute work both independently and as a team member 
  • Ability to prioritize and manage several tasks at once 
  • Experience in contributing to, or managing an open-source project would be a plus 
  • English from Upper-Intermediate or higher 


  • Collaborate with your team to own solutions through the entire SDLC including design, implementation, deployment, testing, quality, security, compliance, monitoring, and support, while targeting operational excellence 
  • Assist the team in identifying and monitoring key metrics to support the operational excellence of active systems 
  • Be responsible for managing software releases, configuration, monitoring, and support of all production systems 
  • Troubleshoot technical or functional issues in a complex data science cloud environment to provide timely resolution, with various applications and platforms that are supported by globally distributed teams 
  • Lead day-to-day tech project operations and activities while ensuring work is progressing as planned
