Requirements

  • At least 5 years on-hand experience with Linux
  • Proficiency in scripting skills in Bash, Python, and Perl
  • Strong experience with CI/CD tools (TeamCity, Jenkins, CircleCI, etc.)
  • Strong knowledge of Cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP) with more than 3 years of experience
  • Proficiency in both relational (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and no-SQL databases (Redis, MongoDB, DynamoDB, Cassandra)
  • Practical experience with configuration management tools (Ansible, Terraform, CloudFormation, Puppet)
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of web and app technology/servers (Apache, Nginx, Tomcat)
  • Familiarity with VMware and related tools like vRealize, VMotion, etc
  • On-hand experience with PHP/JS/Java application deployment procedures (Laravel, WordPress)
  • Deep understanding of Docker concepts and Docker/Docker-compose usage
  • Proficiency in the Atlassian stack (Jira, Confluence)
  • At least an Upper-Intermediate level of English

Responsibilities

  • Contributing to the planning of environments and architecture, shaping the future of our projects
  • Leading the charge in automating CI/CD and other crucial processes, fostering efficiency and innovation
  • Optimization of existing environments and structures
  • Providing insightful recommendations for new technologies and procedures, driving service enhancement and availability
  • Troubleshooting production system and network issues related to performance and functionality
  • Maintaining existing environments
  • Consulting the development team on infrastructure-related questions
