We are looking for a Product Manager to collaborate with sales & marketing teams on promoting the product management competence, actively engage in product management consulting services, and help the delivery units adopt product thinking in their routines.

Product managers at Sigma Software provide advisory services to the startups of different stages of maturity, from dozens of industries, and of diverse geography. One of latest endeavors is the partnership with SSE Business Lab where we help entrepreneurs nurture and bring to market their product ideas. We touch upon multitudes of matters, be it environmental analysis, competitive intelligence, user research, product positioning, strategy and planning, execution, supervision, and many more.

With proprietary product management framework developed on the base of AIPMM product management framework, track record of successful product management contribution in the customer business success, and the challenger spirit, we are now on a mission to break the status quo and prove that strategic product management in IT outsourcing is real and about a great added value.

  • Responsibilities

    What you will be doing:

    • Mentor and provide continuous feedback to Product Management Apprentices
    • Act as a product thinking evangelist both internally (across Sigma Software) and externally (to the leads, prospects, and customers)
    • Be a front-liner: engage in a range of pre-sales activities, present our product management expertise to external stakeholders, identify the most promising business opportunities, advise customers on the product management matters
    • Share expertise with the members of internal product management community and be a helping hand to its members to assist each other in professional growth

    Should you join the delivery team, we expect you to:

    • Identify the areas where your contribution will benefit the customer the most and actively engage
    • Stand-in as a representative of the customer and end-user needs & expectations, drive the implementation of the product strategy
    • Foster the culture of outcome-drivenness, human centricity, trust, and transparency in the team, both on the customer’s and Sigma Software side
    • Nourish product thinking in the team, establish and sustain their focus on the defined objectives
    • Identify and proactively manage strategic and executional risks and issues
    • Do whatever is necessary and appropriate for the product under development to succeed
    • Create user stories and software requirements for the engineering
  • Requirements

    About you:

    • Proficiency in English (at least B2/Upper-Intermediate)
    • 2+ years of product management or product ownership experience
    • Fundamentally analytical; you can collect and analyze data from a variety of sources, identify key insights, spot the opportunities, validate hypotheses, and inform product decisions
    • Experience with products in introduction and growth stages of their lifecycle
    • Ability to understand the business environment, competition, industry and market trends, so it all feels like the water one has always swum in
    • You are comfortable establishing and evangelizing the desired end state or outcome, and motivating others to come along
    • Adaptable, committed, learn fast, able to collaborate cross-functionally and communicate effectively
