We are looking for a proactive Middle Test Automation Engineer for our startup project to provide high quality solutions and create a project architecture from scratch.

Project

We cooperate with an American startup located in California with lots of challenging and interesting tasks, direct communication with the client, and freedom of choosing project’s technologies.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of Software Quality Assurance experience with JavaScript/TypeScript programming skills
  • Strong test automation design skills and OOP knowledge
  • Strong knowledge and experience in Selenium/Appium
  • Experience in end-to-end scenarios test automation
  • Experience in containerization usage (e.g., Docker)
  • Experience in automated tests preparations for CI/CD integration
  • Good knowledge in performance testing, experience in JMeter/LoadRunner usage
  • At least Intermediate level of spoken and written English

  • Good communication skills
  • Experience communicating and working directly with the client
  • High level of self-organization, attention to details
  • Able to perform as a team player as individual contributor

Responsibilities

  • Ability to perform quality control of mobile product
  • Ability to create test automation framework from scratch (mobile UI, REST API, and DB interaction)
  • Good knowledge and experience in Agile/SCRUM methodologies
  • Strong knowledge in test design techniques, experience in test planning
  • Experience in tests organization by means of test management tool
  • Strong knowledge and experience in iOS/Android products testing
  • Experience in debugging and troubleshooting device/platform compatibility issues
  • Experience in REST API interaction (e.g., using Postman)
  • Good SQL knowledge
  • Good knowledge in security testing (OWASP), basic experience in SonarQube usage
