DevOps Manager (DevOps Unit)

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience working in DevOps position 
• Strong knowledge of Cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP) with more than 3 years’ experience 
• Configuration management tools (Ansible, Terraform, CloudFormation, Puppet) 
• Good knowledge and understanding in the area of web- and app- technology/servers (Apache, Nginx, Tomcat) 
• Deep understanding of Docker concepts and Kubernetes 
• Hands-on experience working in Lead position 
• Excellent oral and written English communication skills

Will be a plus:

• Experience with projects from scratch 
• Communications with clients as a manager

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and deliver cloud computing solutions, hosted services, and underlying software infrastructure 
• Work with engineers on the design, deployment, and continuous improvement of important infrastructure solutions and services 
• Act as a subject matter expert in troubleshooting and resolving different types of complex problems on different platforms 
• Support and troubleshoot scalability, high availability, performance, monitoring, backups, and restores of different environments 
• Evaluate new tools, technologies, and processes to improve the speed, efficiency, and scalability of the solutions 
• Implement security best practices to harden against all levels of security across solutions 
• Take part in pre-sales activities and translate requirements into technical solutions 
• Take full ownership of the DevOps discipline and be responsible for managing all server/infrastructure-related issues across the business unit 
• Help in auditing of the projects to improve quality where necessary and to identify faster, cheaper, and easier ways of providing a service where applicable 
• Carry out technical supervision and coaching of middle and junior staff
