Our project on the Global Pet Management Solution truly has it all – a unique concept, skilled co-founders with rich technical background, generous investments, and a large stakeholder negotiating with the founders regarding the startup acquisition.

As a DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for infrastructure delivery, reliability, scalability, monitoring, and helping define all of this as immutable infrastructure-as-code.


Our customer is a true startup guru having more than 20 years of experience in the IT industry and more than 10 prosperous startups under his belt. Be sure, as a part of his team you will keep pace with the state-of-the art technologies and practices.


We are cooperating with a US-based startup backed with one of the leading Venture Capital Firms. Together with their team, we are building from scratch a Cloud Management System allowing vet business owners and their employees to view and manage vital internal processes of the clinic. It is a unique solution covering all aspects of the veterinary business management – starting with medicaments purchase and up to clients’ management.


  • Experience maintaining and deploying highly-available, fault-tolerant systems at scale
  • Professional experience and a high-level understanding of working with various operating systems and their implications
  • A drive towards automating repetitive tasks (e.g. scripting via Bash, Python, Node.js, etc.)
  • Practical experience with Docker containerization and clustering (Kubernetes)
  • Expertise with AWS
  • Version control system experience (e.g. Git)
  • Experience implementing CI/CD (e.g. Jenkins, Artifactory,  Sonarcube, Docker, Helm)
  • Operational (e.g. HA/Backups) RDBMS and NoSQL experience (e.g. PostgreSQL, Couchbase, BigQuery)


  • Support and maintain critical applications on cloud-native microservices architecture (GCP)
  • Implement automation, effective monitoring, and infrastructure-as-code
  • Design and implement build, deployment, and configuration management
  • Build and test automation tools for infrastructure provisioning
  • Help development team with code deployments in all environments
  • Monitor metrics and develop ways to improve applications performance
  • Provide technical guidance and educate team members and coworkers on development and operations
  • Brainstorm for new ideas and ways to improve development delivery
  • Build, maintain, and monitor configuration standards
  • Maintain day-to-day management and administration of projects
  • Manage CI and CD tools with team
