Sigma Software Marketing team is looking for a skilled writer for creating compelling content that helps prospects advance through their buying journey.

You:

  • Know how to write words that work. Words that make busy/distracted people stop and pay attention to. Words that sell but are not salesy.
  • Have written content for webpages, blogs, ads, and direct mail before. And are proud of the content you create
  • Can stay creative and convincing while meeting the deadlines and business requirements

Requirements

  • Exceptional writing skills and speaker’s intuition
  • Attention to details combined with the ability to zoom out and understand and explain the broader context of a project
  • Ability to create compelling copy across a variety of channels (short-form content like a blog post, in-depth long-reads, and everything in between)
  • A solution-oriented, can-do attitude and the ability to take direction from team members then work independently to create compelling content pieces in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication skills and a “team player” mentality
  • Degree in English, Marketing, Journalism, Communications, or related field. Equivalent related work experience may be considered in lieu of degree
  • Advanced level of English

 

It would be great if you have previous experience with:

  • SEO best practices and the ability to write SEO-optimized copy
  • Writing copy for IT & Tech companies (SaaS, Product development, App/software development, Web design & development)

 

Responsibilities

  • Craft compelling on-brand content for offline marketing materials, landing pages, whitepapers, blog posts, e-mails, and more
  • Create various types of copy to advance a prospect through the buying journey maintaining consistent tone of voice across all marketing channels
  • Work with the Marketing team to iteratively optimize messaging on landing pages, campaigns, and other touch points where we interact with potential clients
  • Interview technical experts to collect the information and turn it into engaging stories and business-oriented content
