We are seeking an active Project Manager, ambitious and independent .NET Developers, and curious Test Engineers who will be involved into the development of a web application for this aviation project and will bring to the table their expertise, ideas, and enthusiasm.
PROJECT
Do you know that aviation is the safest mean of transportation? Do you know the reasons behind it?
Thanks to constantly evolving standards, strict rules, and regulations, the aviation personnel always know what to do and how to act in any situation that may happen. Personnel members learn these standards, rules, and regulations as well as train their actions in various situations to be proficient and error-free.
Our solution is called to provide aviation staff with virtual trainings before trying their power in practice. Such trainings are intended to make air transportation safer and more predictable.
The solution we are building will simulate the real-life situations happening in day-to-day operations with the help of modern technologies in 3D visualization. A 3D environment and models must immerse trainees into a situation and create the experience as if they are working with real objects and goods in the field.
This way the training will be much more efficient allowing the trainees to polish and test their skills in a simulated situation as close to reality as possible.
OUR TASK
Sigma Software will deliver the solution aimed at:
- Creating various situations/scenarios that may happen in the course of cargo handling and shipment
- Providing capabilities to interact with the environment as in a real situation
- Tracking, evaluating, and assessing trainee’s actions
- Providing analytics and comprehensive reports for instructors.
THE TEAM
The project team will include a Project Manager, a Solution Architect, a Team Lead, 4-5 Developers, 1-2 Test Engineers, HTML/CSS Developer, a Graphic Designer, and a Security Testing Specialist.

WebGL and PlayCanvas are the key tools for 3D visualization of the training scenarios in the browser.
The application will be hosted in AWS. The web app will cache data in Redis and store data in a PostgreSQL database.
