Position highlights: 

Scope:

A program is a group of related projects managed in a coordinated manner to obtain benefits not available from managing them individually. Program Manager is overseeing the overall performance of all of the projects comprising the program and creating program-level plans to accomplish shared goals.

Business focus:

Program stakeholders Financial health of the program/project(s); Sustainable service delivery (by engaging and coaching Project Managers and building efficient program control and governance).

Primary duties:

Ensure successful customer(s) goals achievement at the Program level. Manage the program’s financial results and ensure efficient performance of the project group within the Program on the tactical and strategic levels. Conduct delivery supervision of projects up to Advanced maturity level. Drive business opportunities and expand the customers’ base accordingly to the strategic goal of the Program, and ensure there is a smooth collaboration with all Company sub-units to achieve the highest value.

Additional roles:

Program Manager may take responsibilities of Resource Manager and/or Account Manager roles. You can act as Account Manager on specific assignment and allocate time to review a new business proposal prepared by one of your PMs.

Requirements

  • Strong knowledge of project and program management methodology, tools, and techniques
  • At least 5 years of project management experience
  • Experience in acting as a SME in any domain and readiness to repeat a success story  in Pharmatech/Insurtech/Fintech/tbd
  • Experience as a business development manager (proposals, contracts, pre-sale communications)
  • 2+ years of experience of PMs’ management. Experience of participation in team members evaluation, composing career roadmaps
  • Strong risk management skills
  • Strong tactical planning and leadership skills
  • Good communication and presentation skills to communicate effectively with customers and project teams
  • Experience as a business development manager (proposals, contracts, pre-sale communications)
  • Ability to manage projects directly or supervise another PMs
  • Strong organizational, negotiation, conflict resolution capabilities
  • Advanced understanding of corporate environment and objectives; ability to propose solutions for their achievement
  • Advanced level of English

  • Domain knowledge expertise in Pharmatech/Insurtech/Fintech/etc.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure internal and external customers’ management through effective communication at the level required by generally applicable business ethics standards  
  • Supervise services and projects delivery by active leadership of PMs’ team. Ensure projects start, tailoring, and delivery according to the best fit delivery model and best project management practices  
  • Provide high quality portfolio risk analysis, tracking, acting upon and communicating risks properly towards customers  
  • Control KPIs, such as profitability, revenue, utilization, attrition, and take active actions to keep them at best possible level  
  • Be resource and people manager, actively participate in planning required hires in collaboration with the Recruiting team, ensure onboarded people’s professional growth  
  • Be an entrepreneur and act as customer’s agent, by developing customer relations and business insight, and proposing extra services customers may need  
  • Participate in pre-sale and up-sale on the current account  
  • Take active part in business and contract negotiations, as well as define business terms in contracts  
  • Take corrective actions required to deliver a complete scope with the desired quality on time and within the budget (including scope change management, risk mitigation, etc.)  
  • Manage project staff (partially): tracking, coordinating, and notifying management about the need for staff career growth; avoiding conflicts in the team  
  • Take part in pre-sale activities
