We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer  to join one of the best team at Sigma Software!

Requirements

  • 5+ year proficiency in Python for data processing and platform development
  • Advanced knowledge of SQL and the ability to write efficient and complex queries
  • Strong hands-on experience with Snowflake
  • Proficiency in DBT for data transformation and modeling
  • Practical experience working with Airflow to orchestrate of data workflows
  • Upper-Intermediate level of English

  • Proven ability to work independently, take ownership of projects, and drive initiatives to completion

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and enhance existing data processes, ensuring reliability, performance, and scalability
  • Improve and support Python-based services and contribute to the development of new ones
  • Design, implement, and optimize scalable data architecture
  • Drive system reliability and performance improvements across all data workflows
  • Oversee and execute data process modernization, including the introduction of new tools and technologies
  • Manage data flow between local storage, AWS, and Snowflake to ensure performance and cost efficiency
  • Lead and support the migration of data pipelines and services to Snowflake
  • Work with and improve the data orchestration layer (Airflow), ensuring stable operation, scalability, and alignment with future platform needs
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure architectural alignment and best practices adoption
