Join as a Data Engineer to build and maintain Azure-based pipelines, structure data models, and optimize logistics for a top European supply chain company.

We are seeking a motivated, proactive, and positive individual with a great desire to learn to join our team. You will work together with our specialists while closely collaborating with the client.

Customer

The Company, headquartered in Germany, is one of Europe’s leading logistics providers. Its competence lies particularly in the development and realization of integrated supply chain systems and focuses on using data to optimize logistics operations.

Requirements

  • At least 1.5 years of experience in data engineering and with cloud computing services solutions in the area of data and analytics, Azure is preferred
  • Conceptual knowledge of data analytic fundamentals, e.g., dimensional modeling, ETL, reporting tools, data governance, data warehousing, structured and unstructured data
  • Knowledge of SQL and experience with Python
  • Cross-functional teams collaboration experience
  • Experience working with xml, json, parquet, csv files would be a plus
  • Upper- Intermediate level of English

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the client and other stakeholders in order to clarify tech requirements and expectations; onboard the clients into existing products
  • Maintain pipelines
  • Maintain data
  • Implement tasks based on Azure Cloud platforms (Data Factory, Databricks, etc.)
  • Discover, understand, and organize disparate data sources and structure them into clean data models with clear and understandable schemas
