We are looking for a Strong Middle QA Automation Engineer to join our engineering team and help us develop one of our web applications. In this role, you will be a part of a global team that works to develop and support the best possible product for our clients.

Our Customer, ConnectWise, is the world’s leading software company dedicated to the success of IT solution providers. ConnectWise delivers essential business continuity and disaster recovery (BCDR) solutions that are easy for managed service providers (MSPs) to deploy and manage. The rise of cybersecurity threats like phishing and ransomware have made BCDR solutions more important than ever for safeguarding data and keeping companies secure and productive. MSPs rely on ConnectWise to address these complex challenges with simple, comprehensive, and profitable BCDR solutions.

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of professional experience in commercial software quality assurance and automation testing, specifically for web applications
  • Proficiency in test analysis and test design
  • Solid understanding of and practical experience with behavior-driven development
  • Strong proficiency in Python programming
  • Strong experience with Playwright
  • Strong understanding of web applications architecture
  • Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools for integrating and running automated tests
  • Understanding of web application security best practices
  • Experience with Git or other version control systems
  • Upper-Intermediate level of English

WOULD BE A PLUS: 

  • Familiarity with test management software (e.g., TestRail)
  • Experience with performance, load, or security testing
  • Experience testing ReactJS
  • Familiarity with containerization technologies
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms

Responsibilities

  • Build test cases and test plans for a web application
  • Design, develop, and maintain comprehensive, scalable, and reliable web UI automation scripts using existing Python, Behave, and Playwright frameworks
  • Configure the pipeline for QA automation execution
  • Analyze test runs results and troubleshoot, debug, and resolve technical issues with QA automation
  • Optimize auto-tests performance and improve their stability
  • Work in close collaboration with software developers, test engineers, product managers and designers to ensure a high level of test coverage, correctness, and reliability
  • Participate in feature acceptance testing
  • Ensure the quality level of the releases
