Senior Ruby Developer (AdTech)

Вимоги

• 5+ years of professional software development experience
• Strong working experience and deep knowledge of Ruby
• Understanding and experience with front-end programming: JavaScript, AJAX, JSON, HTML5
• Experience writing and communication with backend services using RESTful APIs, gRPC, or messaging-based systems
• Experience using Git for version control
• Must be detail-oriented, self-organized, committed to quality, and capable of tracking multiple issues simultaneously
• Clear and effective written and verbal communication skills
• Upper-Intermediate level of English

Would be a plus:

• Experience with Backbone.js
• Knowledge of SQL
• Experience with AWS
• Experience in the AdTech industry
• Passion for following SOLID Design Principles

• Develop and launch new capabilities to adapt to evolving business needs

• Maintain high standards of code quality, including tests and documentation, and encourage the same by providing constructive code reviews to collaborators 
• Work closely with other engineers to investigate design approaches, prototype new technology, and evaluate technical feasibility of new features 
• Manage multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced, exciting environment 
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues, problems, and errors encountered across our various endpoints 
• Provide architectural input when designing new features with an eye toward fault tolerance and low latency 
• Debug operational issues and outages
