After passing the internship, you will be working on Sigma Software projects.

Customer

Sigma Software provides top-quality software development, graphic design, testing, and support services. Systems developed deliver benefit to customers in automotive, telecommunications, aviation, advertising, gaming industry, banking, real estate, and healthcare.

Project

The European customer is a leading developer of Enterprise Electronic Document Management System with thousands of customers. The software enables municipalities to capture, process, store, archive, and supply information in a systemized and controlled manner. There are thousands endusers that use the software for everyday work as their main tool, adapting it for their unique needs. The stakeholders are deeply involved in the project and account processes relying on the team’s expertise.

We, as Sigma Software, are involved in the new functionality creation to meet customer business needs

Requirements

  • Basic knowledge of ASP.NET MVC, Web Services (WCF), JavaScript
  • Basic knowledge of .NET framework platform
  • Good skills in OOP and Code Quality
  • Basic knowledge of OOD and Design Patterns (understanding of SOLID)
  • Understanding of algorithms and data structures
  • Basic knowledge of relational Databases, SQL Server
  • At least strong Pre-Intermediate English knowledge

Desired basic experience in:

  • Angular
  • Version control systems (Git and/or TFS)
  • Auto Testing (unit, integration, system e2e)

 

Would be a plus:

  • Understanding of cloud concept (Azure)
  • Understanding of CD/CD concept (continuous integration and continuous delivery)

Responsibilities

  • Code, debug, document, and maintain portions of software
  • Perform unit and integration testing
  • Participate in peer code reviews
  • Participate in estimation and planning sessions
  • Contribute to development of technical project documentation and user documentation
  • Provide assistance to QA engineers and support personnel in solving technical issues of software installation and its operation
  • Follow the best engineering practices, the quality criteria set forth on the project, and EQMS requirements
  • Reports status and progress according to the project and company demands
  • Spot current deficiencies in the development process, adopted procedures and engineering practices, environment configurations, etc., and suggest improvements
